I used to work on cross chammel ferreis where our standing orders included amongst the regs that we must smile at all times... after a while it all becomes very monty pythonesque doesnt it.. It is amazing how many expletives one can say through ones teeth under ines breath when smiling like a demented rabbit with lockjaw!!
